Song Factory Budapest is a community of young people, a multicultural choir performing popular music covers of Hungarian and International pieces. They are devoted to sharing the inherent joy and beauty of choral music. They create a bridge between the audience and choral singing by performing a distinctive and varied repertoire: acapella songs, songs with musical instruments, songs with multiple parts and polyphony, etc. The singers represent a community of people from diverse backgrounds, connected through several years of performing and singing together.
Song Factory Budapest performs in events, festivals, Christmas and other fairs, balls, dances, company events or other cultural events to enlighten the mood with pop-, rock-, jazz- songs, gospels, spirituals, or well-known motion picture soundtracks as well. In their colourful repertoire everyone can find pieces to enjoy. Concerts and performances can also be tailor-made upon request!
Benedek Hetei-Bakó
Benedek graduated from the Institute of Arts Communication and Music of Eötvös Loránd University with a major in Music in 2016. During his academic years, he gained experience in choral as an assistant conductor of the Budapest Academic Choral Society. He also performed as a singer in several choirs. He has been regularly composing choral covers of popular music pieces since 2016. He was the choir director of Budapest Show Choir as well. In 2017, he joined the German Europa Chorakademie Görlizt choir as a professional singer.
