When is your next concert?

We share all our upcoming performances on our Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/songfactorybudapest)page – that’s where you’ll always find the latest event dates, details, and ticket info.
We also organize two major concerts each year, usually in May and December – follow us to be the first to know when they’re announced!

Question 2

Do you only perform in Budapest?

Accepted Answer

Not at all – we’re happy to perform at events outside the capital as well! We’re open to traveling anywhere in Hungary, provided the venue and the nature of the event are a good fit for our setup.
For performances outside Budapest, our quote will include travel costs, which we always agree on in advance.

Question 3

How many singers can we book for a performance?

Accepted Answer

We work in flexible formations, tailoring the size of our ensemble to fit your event.
We’re available for smaller chamber productions (10–12 singers), medium-sized performances (30–40 singers), or – depending on availability – even full-choir shows with up to 60 members.
We’ll always discuss the most fitting group size during the planning phase to make sure it suits your event perfectly.

Question 4

What kind of instrumental accompaniment do you use during your performances?

Accepted Answer

At our performances, we sing both a cappella and piano-accompanied songs – the program is always tailored to the event and the client’s needs. For piano pieces, we bring our own electric piano, so there’s no need to provide one on site.

Question 5

What technical setup do you require for a performance? (Rider)

Accepted Answer

We provide a technical rider for each of our productions, detailing all essential requirements for the specific formation.

Question 6

Do you also provide event hosting during the concert?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at Song Factory Budapest we’re happy to provide event hosting in Hungarian or English upon request.
Whether it’s a corporate event, an international audience or a festival, we ensure smooth, stylish transitions between musical blocks – including short introductions or commentary where needed. As professional performers, this is part of what we offer – if you’d like us to include it.

Question 7

Do you create custom vocal or choir arrangements for our production?

Accepted Answer

Yes – if your production doesn’t yet have an choir version or vocal arrangement, we’re happy to help! Our conductor, Benedek Hetei-Bakó, can create custom vocal parts, from backing vocals to full SATB choral arrangements.
Once we’ve discussed your needs, we’ll provide a tailored quote for the musical arrangement as well.

Question 8

Can I purchase the sheet music for the songs you perform?

Accepted Answer

Yes – most of our songs are original choral arrangements by our conductor, Benedek Hetei-Bakó. These SATB scores are available for purchase by choirs, schools, and vocal ensembles.

How can I join the choir?

We hold auditions once a year – our next one is coming up in January 2027, and we’d love to see you there!
At the audition, we mainly focus on your ability to sing in harmony, your sheet music reading skills, voice stability, and how quickly you can learn melodies.
Applications will open via an online Casting Form, which we’ll publish on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/songfactorybudapest)a few weeks before – along with all the details you’ll need.
Until then, come and see us live – we’d love to welcome you in the audience!
